The hospital includes 8 blocks with state-of-the-art facilities including radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging, accident and emergency, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, an institute for gynecology and pediatrics, serviced apartments and educational centers.
In addition to patient-centered design, the focus for "Green Design" was to provide extensive landscaping and rooftop gardens, for improved patient well-being and consequent promotion of the healing process. Special emphasis was placed on sustainable & energy efficient architecture as well as maximizing natural lighting and ventilation. Shading systems on the façade and corresponding tree plantings keep the building from overheating too much. In addition, all flat roofs are greened.
